Deputy Technical Workstream Manager
As Deputy Technical Workstream Manager, you’ll join the Sprint team during a crucial phase of the project, as we move towards construction and delivery to ensure the A34 and A45 bus priority corridor schemes, linking Walsall to Solihull and Birmingham Airport via Birmingham City Centre, are delivered on budget and in time for the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in 2022. Following 2022, there are a further five Sprint schemes to be developed and delivered.
The scheme, the first bus priority corridor of its kind anywhere in the country, places passenger experience front and centre and underpinned by innovative intelligent transport technology systems.
As Deputy Technical Workstream Manager, you’ll support and deputise for the Sprint Technical Programme Manager in delivering the technical workstream deliverables to time, cost and quality, utilising and managing the appropriate resources, over the project lifecycle. You’ll oversee technical workstream delivery, specifically relating to shelter delivery and removal, CCTV, Real Time Information, Ticketing, and bus priority testing and configuration. This is a role where you’ll combine your project management skills and your technical engineering/systems knowledge to the fullest.
