People Management Support Apprenticeship

Fixed term contract for 18 months

Salary:  Level 3 £17,244 (per-annum)         

Hours: 37 Hours per week

The City of Wolverhampton Council is looking for an Apprentice to promote and support the work and services of the council’s Workforce Development team within the West Midlands Pension Fund team.

Your role will be to support the People Management team with administrative duties in relation to recruitment and people management across the Fund. To support the team with recruitment campaigns, communicating with potential applicants providing updates on the recruitment stages. To use recruitment software to manage incoming applications and support with the organisation of interviews and training events.

The successful candidate will receive on the job training and will complete a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/business-administrator-v1-0

You will be supported by experienced staff who can assist you with your work and study to give you the experience to apply for other roles within the council. You will also be trained to use various IT systems that support the efficient delivery of our services.
