Our new integrated service delivers environmental and health improvement across Walsall, including Walsall’s expanse of green spaces, parks, countryside, waterways, urban forestry and other community settings. A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Healthy Spaces Team as one of its area managers:
Public Health Programme - Development Officer – Ref: EE43720
Salary G9 £33,448 - £38,506 per annum
You will oversee the development, co-ordination and delivery of environmental and health Improvement programmes in line with local priorities and key strategic documents. This particular role has a focus on activity in the West of Walsall and a Borough-wide strategic responsibility for allotments. Through liaison with line management, you will set work priorities and co-ordinate the work of the Public Health Programme Community Officers, casual instructors and volunteers to implement our green space and our health & wellbeing strategies, ensuring demonstrable and sustainable improvements.
