Contract:                  Permanent

13 hours per week (term time only) with the availability to work flexibly across Monday – Friday over 5 days,   8.40 am – 3.30 pm.  TED days included.

An excellent opportunity is available for a suitable person to join the staff of this friendly, caring, very popular and over-subscribed school as Cover Supervisor from 1^st September 2021.  You will be responsible for supervision of classes in the absence of a class teacher.  You will be required to manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking work set by the class teacher to ensure a constructive environment and respond to questions from pupils about process and procedures.  Ofsted have graded pupils’ behaviour as outstanding for the last 2 inspections (2010 and 2014) and our pupils really are a pleasure to teach!

You may also provide administrative assistance or cover for the absence of any Teaching Assistants.  You will need a good standard of education and an interest in how young people learn.  A confident classroom presence with some experience of working in schools is required.  Training and support will be offered for this post.
