Green Space Infrastructure Officer
£27,741 - £29,577 per annum

37 hours per week
You will work closely on maximizing the benefits of the Development Control process in acquiring resources to assist in the implementation of a wide range of improvements to the Council’s outdoor leisure and recreational provision for all sectors of the community. You will play a key role in shaping the future open space and play strategies being developed by the council’s planning team and be the focal point for the delivery and development of new open spaces and play areas and improved connectivity with existing sites. . To ensure the planning, design and implementation of developments, including capital projects within the Councils green spaces, inclusive of play areas, BMX tracks, green gyms, multi-use games areas and youth shelters are delivered to the highest standards; engaging with the community, elected members and other officers of Telford & Wrekin Council. The successful applicant will be working as part of a small, dedicated and committed team where collective use of skills and experience will contribute to the achievement of a continuing demonstrable improvement to the Borough’s Parks, Greenspaces and outdoor sport and recreational provision.
