Role Title: Commercial Contract Manager

Salary:  £37,890- £41,881 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent (full time - 37 hours per week)

Location: Stafford with flexibility (currently home working)

Staffordshire County Council spends over £500m pa on purchasing services and supplies. A significant part of that spend is managed with the Commercial Team. The Commercial Contract Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of contracts to ensure contract compliance and service improvements and efficiency.

Applicants will need to have good knowledge and experience of contract management activities and experience of managing relationships with providers and external bodies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills and a good level of computer literacy are required along with excellent numerical and statistical skills. The postholder will be expected to identify and implement service improvements through relationships, contract management and input into recommissioning processes.
