The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly merged, all-through community special school across 2 separate sites in Warwick. We have 268 children and young people on roll ranging in age from 3 to 19 years old. Our site on Deansway provides for primary-aged children and our site situated on Brittain Lane provides for secondary-aged children and young adults.
This role will be initially based at our Deansway site, but will be required to work across both our Deansway and Brittain Lane sites.
Key Requirements
We are looking for a Caretaker, responsible for managing caretaking services to all buildings forming the school site, ensuring a safe and secure environment. You will have responsibility for undertaking minor or temporary maintenance and repairs, driving our minibus, and maintaining our swimming pool. You will supervise school caretaking/premises staff. You will be responsible to the Headteacher or nominated representative for the effective provision of caretaking, cleaning and site maintenance routines and responding to emergencies relating to the site as necessary.
This position is for 14.5 hours per week, 43 weeks per year, working:
Thursday 2-7pm
Friday 2-6pm
Saturday 8am - 1.30pm
