The Public Rights of Way Operations Team is seeking an enthusiastic professional to contribute to the maintenance of the Public Rights of Way network.
This is a challenging but exciting and varied post in which, working closely with others, you will be responsible for ensuring the public rights of way network and other identified access routes are properly maintained.
You will carry out inspections of public rights of way, often in response to problems reported by the public, and draw up schedules of work to be carried out by contractors. You will be responsible for instructing and checking work carried out by contractors, landowners or volunteers.
The post requires the ability to effectively manage a very busy workload, working to strict deadlines, and good communication skills as you will be required to liaise with landowners, contractors and others to resolve deficiencies in path maintenance and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. You will also work with a network of voluntary parish path wardens and supervise their work.

• Based in Worcester but regular travel throughout the County is required
