We are recruiting for a Principal
Required for September 2021
Salary Range: £56,721 to £65,736 (Equivalent to L13-L19)
Number on Roll: 200
Following the promotion of our well-respected and dedicated Principal to another school within our Multi Academy Company, the Directors of Emmaus Catholic MAC are looking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational practising Catholic leader with a clear vision to build on this Ofsted ‘Good’ school’s fine Catholic ethos, academic strengths, family and community spirit.
St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, Brierley Hill, is an innovative and outward looking school with happy, motivated and well-behaved children, an excellent staff team committed to raising standards, a supportive and enthusiastic Local Governing Body and strong links with our local Parish. The successful candidate will be an effective leader, who will continue to raise standards and further enhance the curriculum so that it enriches the lives of our children, makes learning engaging and fun, and ensures
every child’s talents are developed to the full.
Under the leadership of the Catholic Senior Executive Leader (CEO), the successful candidate will play a full part in the Committee of Principals, the vehicle through which policy and procedure and effective collaborative practice is developed, in order to raise academic achievement across all Emmaus Catholic MAC schools.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking and growing MAC, committed to an exciting vision of providing “excellent education for all in the heart of our communities: nourishing faith, nurturing talent, fostering aspiration.”
Emmaus Catholic MAC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of
children and young people. This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check
under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work
in the UK.
