Assistant Analyst – Partnership Exploitation & Missing Hub   

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an Assistant Analyst  to sit within our Partnership Exploitation & Missing Hub.   .

The hub brings together agencies from services that have contact with children who are exploited to make the best possible use of their combined knowledge to keep them safe from harm, reduce exploitation and disrupt perpetrators. It facilitates the consistent and systematic sharing of relevant and appropriate information so that there is a comprehensive understanding of risk, threat and harm from all forms of exploitation and informs a balanced risk assessment and in turn appropriate interventions and disruption planning.

This post is required to assist in the support of effective performance management, information and intelligence gathering and evidenced based decision making by working closely with professionals based in the Partnership Exploitation and Missing Hub. 

This post will contribute to the Council’s outcome-based planning approach, development, maintenance and delivery of the Corporate Plan and preparation for external inspection and review and development of internal service plans.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

   

  1. To assist in the support of effective performance management, information and intelligence gathering and evidenced based decision making in the Partnership Exploitation and Missing Hub

 

  1. To lead on identifying, defining and meeting the management information requirements and using this to inform the local understanding and management of exploitation across the city.

 

  1. To assist in the collation and analysis of high-quality management information from a range of sources to meet external requirements including central government returns and information, statistics for national and regional benchmarking and performance reports to support external inspection, other external review processes and internal decision making.

 

  1. To assist in the collation and analysis of high-quality data and management information from a range of sources to meet internal and partnership agency requirements including for elected members, internal and multi-agency boards and groups, senior managers and front-line managers.
