Title: Press & Publicity Officer
Contract: Fixed Term until 25/03/2024
Location: Plough Lane, Hereford
Hours: 37
Salary: £29,577-£33,782 Per Annum

Herefordshire Council is looking for a talented Press and Publicity Officer (three year fixed term) to join its Communications Team.
You will be used to the pressure of deadlines and the fast-paced life of a busy press office. With experience of handling media for a complex organisation, you’ll have a great eye for a story and an ability to make complex issues easy to understand. Working in a small team, you’ll be confident in pitching promotional ideas and understand the subtleties of working for digital channels.
You’ll have a positive and proactive approach, ready to support the waste management team to create and deliver communication plans to promote key service campaigns and changes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the local community and raise the profile of Herefordshire Council’s work.
