G8: £30,150 – £34,385 per annum

Full time, Fixed term for 18 months.

Walsall Children’s Services are transforming as we work to deliver our Walsall Right4Children vision across the borough. To support our transformation we are looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Power BI Developer with a passion for turning data into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights.

You will understand the importance of automating regular reporting to enable self-service of management information, shaping and presenting data to support in-depth analysis and presenting data in an accessible way that tells a coherent story.

You will support the Head of Performance Improvement and Quality, and Performance Improvement and Quality Manager in promoting and supporting of effective performance management and evidenced informed decision making by working closely with colleagues in identifying, defining and meeting the changing management information, performance monitoring and data needs of the organisation, schools or external customers.

Working as part of an existing team you will have experience to create and manage business intelligence and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge. In this role, you should have a background in data and business analysis and be able to demonstrate your experience of using data visualisation software. You should be an analytical thinker and an excellent communicator. Ultimately, you will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions and improve outcomes for children and families in Walsall.
