Clerk to the Governors
Two schools within the Arden Forest C of E Multi Academy Trust (Henley in Arden C of E Primary School and Wootton Wawen C of E Primary School), require a Clerk to support their Local Governing Bodies (LGBS). The Clerk will assist the Governors with their aim to provide the best education for their pupils whilst upholding the vision and values of the Trust.
The role is for 2.5 hours per week.
•Provide administrative and organisational support to the LGB including taking minutes to a high standard.
•Give guidance to the LGB to help ensure that the board works in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory frameworks.
•Ensure the LGB are up to date on any procedural, governance, and constitutional matters.
The successful candidate will have excellent administrative, IT, and communication skills. They will also have the ability to work to deadlines and to work flexibily as they will need to work at times convenient to the governing body. Meetings usually take place in the evening and at the moment are taking place through Teams. A full list of duties can be seen in the attached job description.
