TEACHER OF MATHS AND COMPUTING
Job start September 1st 2021
We are looking to recruit a qualified Maths / Computing Teacher to enrich the learning and development of our KS2 and KS3 students.
The successful candidate will be able to create and deliver engaging and innovative lesson plans that meet the needs of all students and includes accurate target setting; set regular and relevant homework, learning and assessments; monitor and report on the progress of students and take appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential; demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skill and recognise, value and support the delivery of opportunities which extend beyond the confines of classroom delivery and seek to enrich and add value to the students experience and learning. You will be a team player with a clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments and will be passionate about creativity across all disciplines.
We are ambitious for our students so the teacher appointed will be determined and able to ensure that all students in years 6, 7 and 8 make outstanding progress in both Maths and Computing and possibly other curriculum areas if required.
Our delightful students deserve to be taught by enthusiastic, able and committed teachers, so we provide a varied and supportive programme of continuing professional development and coaching for our staff as well as a support programme for newly qualified teachers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to join our federation of Pebworth First School (Reception to Y5) and Blackminster Middle School (Y6 –Y8) in rural Worcestershire, serving the villages around the charming market town of Evesham. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and creative person who is committed to teaching excellent lessons and motivating students of all abilities to achieve their best.
The Maths and Computing department, where the successful candidate will be based, is in our beautiful Blackminster Middle School site.
