Newly Qualified Teacher of Computer Science - WMG Academy Solihull
The WMG Academy Trust Board are seeking to appoint a motivated, dedicated and aspirational newly qualified teacher (NQT) in the area of Computer Science.
Energetic? Innovative? Passionate? Work with us and our leading industry partners to deliver a skills-based curriculum in a high achieving environment.
We are looking for a different kind of teacher who wants to be at the cutting edge of teaching and learning, working differently alongside employer partners. We are bringing the curriculum to life with an innovative approach using real life business problem-solving skills and embracing business-like learning behaviours.
We welcome applications from NQTs who love their subject, are passionate about education and through a flexible, ‘problem solving’ approach want to deliver outstanding outcomes for all learners. You will be a key member of the WMG Academy team, delivering outstanding teaching across KS4 and KS5.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This post is subject to enhanced DBS clearance.
This post is designed for NQTs. Full support and training will be provided throughout your NQT year and we recognise the challenges faced by Initial Teacher Training candidates who have completed their training during the COVID-19 pandemic and therefore further support, including reduced timetables, will be offered to all successful candidates to reflect this.
To apply for this position, please complete the application form with a supporting statement (section 7 of the application form). Please state in your application your specialist subject(s) and other subjects and to which level you are able to teach. CV’s will not be accepted.
Completed application forms should be returned to: Executive Principal, WMG Academy, Chelmsley Road, Chelmsley Wood, Solihull, B37 5FD or by email to email@example.com
For an informal conversation please contact the Executive Principal by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 0121 289 3556 and asking for Ethan Harries, Executive Assistant to the Executive Principal.
