Catering Assistant - Lyng Primary

We are committed to providing an excellent catering service to our pupils and staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team.

We have a vacancy for a 12.5hr per week General Assistant. The hours will be between 11am – 1.30pm Monday to Friday during term time. The working times may vary depending on service needs.

Duties include assisting with the preparation of food, serving pupils, erecting and dismantling tables for lunch, cleaning the dining hall, washing up, kitchen cleaning and general kitchen duties.

Previous experience desirable, but training will be given. Candidates must be willing to undertake the Level 2 Food Safety and any other relevant training.

Grade:

Band A Point 1 - 2 pro rata (Actual salary £5,309 - £5,414) (£9.25 to £9.43 per hour plus a Living Wage supplement to £9.50 per hour, payable from 1 April 2021)
