EYFS Teaching Assistant - Teagues Bridge Primary School

Temporary to cover maternity

8.30am - 15.45pm daily

Term time only

NJC Scale 3 £10.01 - £10.21 per hour

Teagues Bridge Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, energetic, imaginative and experienced teaching assistant to work 1:1 with children in Reception.

We are looking for a teaching assistant/unqualified teacher who:

  • Values outdoor learning.
  • Is a committed professional who is looking to join a team of experienced staff striving to take our school towards OUTSTANDING.
  • Will support the implementation of effective teaching strategies which motivate and inspire children to learn. Has the personal qualities which influence, motivate and inspire others to learn from best practice and be confident to accept responsibility, innovate and lead change.
  • Is passionate about improving opportunities and outcomes for children.
  • Is creative and will embrace the creative curriculum that has been developed.
  • Offers a proven good practice across all year groups.
  • Be a positive role model
  • Understands the importance of learning.
  • Manage challenging behaviour
  • Knowledge of ADHD and strategies to support their learning journey.


The appointment will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance for the successful applicant.
