 Primary Teaching Assistants - 1:1 Child Specific Contract - Are you ready for a new challenge?  - Are you passionate about supporting pupils who have Special Educational Needs?  - Are you looking for a new educational experience?  - Do you thrive on bringing the curriculum to life with real experiences? We are seeking to appoint full time Child Specific Teaching Assistants at this popular and successful, all age special school. You will be required to support our diverse range of learners in all areas of the curriculum and adapt your approach to suit their needs. The position is in our primary team but you may also be asked to support beyond this age range. Hazel Oak is an outstanding learning environment, with pupils who have a spectrum of needs including Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, social, emotional and behavioural challenges and a range of personal care and medical needs. Staff are actively involved in the school’s development and have access to regular training and peer support. We advocate a growth mindset and a positive outlook to support the development and self-esteem of our students across the age ranges. Please note, during the first year the salary will be pro-rata for the number of months worked up to 31st August 2021.
