Stour Vale Academy Trust are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed primary school middle leader who is keen to gain the experience to move into a senior leader role. The successful candidate would have a permanent contract of employment with Stour Vale Academy Trust and be deployed as a middle leader to work alongside the senior leadership team in a school within the Trust. This role is well suited to an excellent primary school practitioner who is ambitious for children and looking to gain experience of leadership. The initial long-term deployment would be to Newtown Primary School in West Bromwich.


Newtown Primary School joined Stour Vale Academy Trust on 1st April 2020. The middle leader would be line managed by the senior leadership team at Newtown, support the senior leadership team and add leadership capacity to the school. This is an exciting time for both the school and our growing Multi-Academy Trust and an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and effective middle leader to play a vital part in improving the quality of education for children.

Initial shortlisting will take place on Friday 7th May and shortlisted candidates will be invited to teach a short lesson at Newtown on Friday 14th May.


Formal interviews will take place on Tuesday 18th May.
