Solihull Community Housing is an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) responsible for managing the property portfolio, customers and surrounding estates on behalf of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC).
Reporting to the Safer Homes Contract Officer, you will work as part of a team responsible for the co-ordination and administration of various compliance operations across our portfolio. This includes maintaining service schemes, managing in-house diaries and liaising with customers to ensure servicing and repairs are completed in line with current legislation and guidance.
High quality customer service is an absolute pre-requisite of this role both on an individual and corporate basis.
The role is a busy one, so the ability to prioritise and manage stress are key skills for the role. Along with an in house Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) we also work with a range of contractors and external agencies so good communication skills are essential.
With experience in either the social housing or commercial property sector, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in a busy service area covering a range of health and safety maintenance activities.
