Customer Service Advisor

We are looking for a professional, polite and organised individual to join the Highways and Transport Control Centre at Worcestershire County Council. We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to work in the multi-functional integrated Control Centre Team.

Your main responsibilities will be to work as part of a team providing an efficient and effective “one stop service” for the customers and act as an intermediary between the customer and suitable service areas. You will do this by answering queries from a range of portals and responding and recording as appropriate using a variety of IT systems. Training will be provided on the specific IT systems for the role. The role will require first class customer service, professionalism and organisational skills. You will also need to be IT literate and have a practical and “can do” approach. You must also have clear, concise and assertive communication skills; both written and oral.
