Monday – Friday

2 hours per day (3.30-5.30 pm) Term time, plus Inset days and two weeks holiday clean

Baldwins Gate Primary School is a happy and caring school where the staff are dedicated to creating a great place for pupils to thrive and learn. 

The governors are looking to appoint a cleaner to join the School’s team.  We require a hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic and motivated person to join our school and to help us to ensure that the required standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within our setting. You must be able to work with a variety of staff in a school setting, build good working relationships and be organised and consistent with a positive “can do” attitude.  We are looking for someone who is very much a team player, willing to work alongside colleagues in a flexible and co-operative way.

Duties will include vacuuming, sweeping, washing, mopping, polishing, dusting, emptying litter bins, deep cleaning and using powered equipment as required. 

You will need to provide an outstanding service and maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times. You will also have an awareness of health and safety responsibilities and an eagerness to gain experience and to participate in staff training as and when required. The successful candidate must have proven good attendance and punctuality.
