CLERK TO THE GOVERNORS VACANCY –130 hours per year
Grade: Payment Range 3, £10.41 to £11.27 per hour
Commencement Date –May 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter
We are a thriving village school set in beautiful countryside within Worcestershire and borders both Dudley and Birmingham authorities. We aspire to provide the very best education for our pupils and strive to enable every individual to develop academically, socially, spiritually, emotionally and physically in order to achieve their full potential.
We are looking to appoint an organised and enthusiastic individual with a professional approach to support the Governing Body as its Clerk. The successful candidate must be able to work quickly and efficiently, have excellent administrative skills and due regard to the confidential nature of the work. Duties will include preparing and distributing agenda, taking minutes, handling correspondence and advising the Governors on procedures. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. Attendance will be required at Full Governing Body and Committee Meetings which may be held during the school day or in evenings. Please note that during the COVID-19 pandemic Governors are holding their meetings online.
The position is subject to pre-employment checks including obtaining suitable references and potentially a Health Check.
