We are seeking to appoint an outstanding individual to meet the needs of learners who are at risk of exclusion or have been excluded from mainstream education. The ability to work with small groups on targeted interventions, to administer assessments and work with pupils with SEMH needs is essential.
A teaching assistant qualification
- Experience working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs
- Excellent behaviour strategies
- Experience of planning and delivering lessons to small groups
- High expectations of children’s learning and behaviour
- The ability to work as part of a team
- A good sense of humour
