Wrap Around Care Manager
Northfield Road Primary School, is a rapidly improving school in the heart of Netherton in Dudley with 400 pupils on roll and is a member of the Stour Vale Academy Trust. The school joined the Trust in July 2019 and is proud to be part of a growing, successful academy trust dedicated to improving the quality of education for pupils in the Black Country.
The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, motivated and experienced manager to lead and develop the Wrap Around Care provision in school. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to manage a dedicated and inspired team of staff, and to deliver a high standard of provision, in a caring and supportive environment.
Role: Wrap Around Care Manager
Contract: Permanent, Term Time 39 weeks
Hours: 20 hours per week
7.15am to 8.45am and 3.15pm to 5.45pm Monday to Friday
Grade: 5, Points 7 - 11
Salary: £17,267 to £18,690 full time equivalent (39 weeks term time)
Actual Salary: £9,333 to £10,103 per annum
The successful candidate will have:
- a knowledge and understanding of the provision of care and education of children in a wrap around care environment
- An ability to relate to children ensuring they are stimulated in a safe environment that is conducive to the child’s needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents and other agencies
- the confidence to lead a team
- promote the vision and values of the school demonstrating high professional standard
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or other equivalent qualification
