Education Strategy and Development Officer
About us and the role:
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and analytical individual to take up an exciting position to help shape, influence and deliver an ambitious Education Strategy across Education Services. Working as part of a new team, reporting to the Education Services Development Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in supporting Traded Services teams and the wider Education Services community to plan, deliver and monitor the implementation of service plans and associated activities to ensure our teams are fit for purpose, operate effectively and achieve their outcomes.
We are seeking a team player who shows a real passion for supporting Education Services across the County and has a 'can do' attitude. You will enjoy the challenge of a varied workload and excel in an environment which promotes continuous improvement.
In terms of experience you will:
· Possess exceptional communication skills as well as a highly developed collaborative nature.
· Be highly organised and with an inquisitive mind for researching new ways of doing things.
· Show strong attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
· Communicate information in a simple, straightforward manner, draw meaningful conclusions, and make business recommendations based on the findings.
· Have a commitment to delivering high quality services.
· Have experience of project management.

The team is currently working from home due to the coronavirus guidance, however Warwickshire County Council operates a policy of agile working and staff regularly work from home or an alternative work base.
