We also benefit greatly from a wide range of fantastic facilities for our staff and students, including an on-site swimming pool, astroturf pitch, dedicated Sixth Form block, flexible breakout spaces across the school and a large theatre often used by groups in our local community for performances. We are a school with a real family feel, with a strong House ethos that underpins our work. We know that having successful students starts with having with a happy and well-supported staff and we are very much committed to our staff having a fulfilling work-life balance. Colton Hills Community School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all employed staff, agency, thirdparty staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful candidates will be required to undertake a Criminal Records Check (Enhanced DBS). Our outcomes show that we are a successful school, with positive Progress 8 scores in our past three academic years. We are also a growing school, with 210 students in our current and next Year 7 – up from 161 previously – meaning that our student numbers are robust and the whole-school cohort will approach 1000 students. Responsible to the Curriculum Leader of Technology and to provide an efficient, effective and safe technical service to pupils and teachers, making a contribution to ensuring the Curriculum is delivered in accordance with the current National standards to the satisfaction of the schools Governing Body. Carrying out the role as outlined in the Job Description.
