Rural Estates Manager

At Worcestershire County Council we are changing the way we manage the property estate and have an exciting opportunity for a Rural Estate Manager to join the inhouse Corporate Landlord team.
The Rural Estate Manager will be responsible for managing the farms and small holdings estate including strategic recommendations and implementation, landlord responsibilities, marketing, disposals, negotiations etc and ensuring the Council’s commercial interests are delivered.
This role will provide advice on rural property matters and be the Council’s expert on the rural economy, consulting and working with local stakeholders and ensuring that the Council’s policy and corporate plan aims are implemented. Also providing input into local development plans and supporting Council’s project delivery, highways, transport and sustainability teams.
This is a new role within the Council and is an opportunity to use your professional expertise and knowledge to develop a new future for the estate.
