Responsible to: The Trust Board, Executive Leaders, Head of School and the Local Governing Board

The Fierté Trust has a family of eight primary schools in Tamworth and Burton including Anker Valley Primary Academy, a new 210-place free school opening in September 2021. Anker Valley Primary Academy will open to meet the huge demand for new, high quality primary school places in Tamworth. The school will be a new 210- place free school over time starting with Nursery and Reception, growing to Year 6, before children move on to High School (the school sits within the catchment area of the Rawlett School). Growing slowly but steadily, will enable the school the opportunity to give every child the opportunity to reach the highest standards of achievement and personal success. The leadership team and governors will foster a team of teachers, nursery and support staff, all of whom will be experts in primary education, with a shared drive to place children at the centre of every decision.

Duties and Responsibilities
All teachers are required to carry out the duties of a school teacher as set out in the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions document and to meet the expectations outlined in the Teacher Standards.
