The drb Ignite Trust is developing a new IT Service Department that will offer our schools more than the traditional reactive ‘break and fix’ fire-fighting service. The vision is for the department to provide a one-stop shop solution to managing the Trust’s ICT infrastructure proactively, minimising disruption to the school day by identifying potential faults before they happen.

The IT Team with its wide-ranging technical expertise has been created to always ensure a consistent level of service and keep up to date with changes in technology to ensure the aspirational needs of education leaders are met. The team will use relationships with various key suppliers and manufacturers, to ensure any newly purchased equipment,

provides quality and reliability whilst achieving value for money.

As an experienced IT professional, this is an excellent opportunity to be able to use your talent to make a significant difference to the leadership of the Trust’s IT infrastructure.

You will be used to working on complex and wide-ranging projects and able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels. You will have extensive experience of leading successful IT teams and have a record of accomplishment delivering business improvement.

We will offer significant support and training to help you excel in this role. The role will give you a great experience of the education sector and provide opportunities for further development. In this role you will have significant responsibilities, work with senior colleagues, contribute to projects across the Trust and most importantly make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of children.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
