Job Start Date: 1 September 2021
We are looking to appoint a skilful and enthusiastic classroom teacher who will be part of our curriculum team. This team consists of five teachers who work closely together to develop and enhance the wider curriculum. Age group taught and subject specialisms are open to discussion.
The post includes leadership responsibilities and is an excellent opportunity for somebody who is interested in contributing to the strategic improvement of the school and developing their career in a successful primary setting.
Responsibilities will include: -
• Working as part of a staff team to support curriculum development
• Coverage of subjects in all year groups
• Progress and celebration of subjects in books
• Enhancement of the curriculum through trips/visitors etc.
• Development of a curriculum budget
• Celebration of the curriculum through display
• Collation of evidence to support impact of the curriculum
• Collaboration with partnerships including Birmingham Hippodrome, Aston Villa and School Music Service
There will be regular leadership time to support this role, and staff meeting time allocated to develop the curriculum.
