The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is a highly successful Multi Academy Trust (MAT) encompassing 5 secondary schools, 11 primary schools, Teaching School, and SCITT. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield and North Warwickshire. Our academies are quite distinctive and separate schools, serving different communities and phases but all either are, or have the capacity to become, outstanding.
Stockland Green School is a small over-subscribed community school, serving 11 to 16-year olds and we are passionate about delivering top quality education to the children in our care. We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our well-resourced team as an Attendance Officer.
You will need to work on your own initiative, have good organisational skills, work well under pressure. To contribute to raising achievement by improving school attendance and to provide a specialist service to assist the school in meeting their obligations and targets in relation to school attendance, especially persistent absence.
Promoting positive attitudes by students and families towards education and to ensure that parents are made fully aware of their statutory responsibilities. To make unsupervised contact with families in their own homes and elsewhere to assess the reasons impacting on the attendance of individual students, facilitating their return or access to regular full
time education provision.
Helping to establish and develop a professional service to support the school in raising attendance, investigating persistent absences and improving punctuality.
