Weekend Maintenance Operative
18.5 Hours per Week
We are looking for a practically minded and enthusiastic individual to join our Facilities Team. You will work with the other Premises staff to provide reliable and efficient caretaking and maintenance support to the staff, students and visitors to the school. You will be the main point of contact for lettings on the weekends, opening and closing the premises and ensuring that the facilities are maintained to a high standard.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday: £11,091 - £11,770* p.a. for 18.5 hours a week, year-round (£22,183 - £23,541 p.a. pro-rata)
*Basic salary. Weekend working will be paid at 1.5x hourly rate.
You will need a range of practical skills in order to carry out general maintenance and repairs, a good knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and ideally experience in dealing with contractors. You will be part of a busy team, but will also need to work independently to cover out of hours, on-call and weekend working.
