Start date:  As soon as possible after notice period, providing satisfactory references and a clear enhanced DBS certificate has been obtained by the school, no later than 1/9/21

Post 1 Grade 2 Teaching Assistant - Variable hours post (minimum 16 hours per week maximum 29 hours per week), starting with 18 hours and 45 minutes per week, for the remainder of this academic year. These hours will be worked over 5 mornings, 8:45am – 12:30pm. Initially the post will be in Year 5. Candidates must be willing to step up to 29 hours in the school year 2021-22, if required to do so. 

Post 2 Grade 4 Sports/PE coach - Variable hours post (minimum 16 hours per week maximum 29 hours per week), starting with 16 hours and 45 minutes per week, for the remainder of this academic year. These hours will be worked over 5 days and will include 3 hours of swimming lessons 8:00am – 8:45am, 5 afternoons of sport 1:30pm – 3:15pm and 5 afternoon clubs 3:15pm – 4:15pm.

Post 1 – Grade 2 Teaching Assistant

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant with relevant experience of supporting teaching and learning in the classroom and a desire to develop new skills.

The successful candidates will:

  • show an ability to work using initiative, solving problems and generating ideas;
  • be a real team player, being able to build and sustain positive relationships with colleagues;
  • be capable of leading classroom sessions, as cover supervision.

Post 2 – Grade 4 Sports/PE coach

The successful candidate will have experience with delivering high quality PE and sports sessions.

Candidates may wish to apply for one of both of the posts. For the right candidate both posts could be combined.
