Care Officer

35 hours + (up to 1 sleep-in nights per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen, to help shape the future within the boarding facility of this fully generic all-age special school. This post is based at the purpose built, boarding provision; “Russell House” situated on the Habberley Learning Campus. This provision will offer mid-weekly, term-time boarding for up to sixteen pupils of the Wyre Forest School.

It is expected that candidates will have recent experience within the senior care role in a social care provision that preferably caters for children/young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. Candidates should have a clear understanding of what effective care for children/young people looks like and how to organise care assistant colleagues to ensure that high standards of care are met.
