ACCOUNTANCY ASSISTANT
£24,491 - £27,041 per annum

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable team player to assist with providing a pro-active, customer focused financial support service to Members, the Corporate Management Team, and budget holders.
The role includes support for the budget process and production of final accounts, including accounting for the Collection Fund; assistance with monthly budget monitoring and reporting; completion of reconciliations ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial systems; and support for procurement including the update and maintenance of the contract register and the provision of advice and guidance to budget holders.
The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification is desirable, but not essential. The successful candidate should have experience in a busy financial environment, be able to demonstrate competence in a range of IT applications including Microsoft Office and financial systems, and be able to produce accurate work to strict deadlines.
