NJC Scale 3 between £10.01 and £10.21 per hour
32.50 hours per week 08:30am to 03:30pm, term time only.
The governors of Our Blessed Saints Federation wish to appoint a kind, enthusiastic, flexible and experienced teaching assistant, to work as a member of the support staff team at Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Primary School.
Main responsibilities will include providing support with teaching and learning for a variety of pupils, small group interventions, occasional Cover Supervision class support and other day to day Teaching Assistant duties.
We are seeking a candidate who can demonstrate a strong commitment to progressing the learning outcomes for all our pupils, and who can show how they would deploy their existing skills to engage and support learners.
Ss Peter & Paul Catholic Primary School is a member of Our Blessed Saints Federation together with St Luke’s Catholic Primary School, Trench, Telford. The partnership benefits from the sharing of experience and expertise across both schools.
The post holder will also be responsible for assisting with the preparation of classroom resources, undertaking first aid duties and be willing to undertake other relevant training.
In addition to general L3 Teaching Assistant duties, experience and training in the following would be desirable:
- ELSA training
- Letters and sounds training
- Dyslexia training
