Social Worker  –Bromsgrove Area Team

Salary: £25,481 to £28,672
 

37 hours per week.

Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic Social Worker and want to join a dedicated and very supportive team in the delivery of Adult Social Care across the Bromsgrove Area?
 

Do you want to work using strengths-based practice and within the principles of the 3 Conversation model?

If so, we are looking to recruit a Social Worker to join us in the Bromsgrove Area Social Work Team.


You will need to have the confidence to advocate for our clients and work in partnership with health colleagues’ other statutory partners and voluntary sector providers.  As a practitioner you will need to have the ability to be creative, innovative and search for solutions that are not always obvious.

As a Social Worker, you should have experience around safeguarding and managing complex work. As a Social Worker, you should have experience of working on a duty system.

As a practitioner you will be working across client groups that include older people, older people with mental health needs, people with disabilities, people with mild learning disabilities and/or people with autism..

The expectation is that you will be managing your own work and caseload. This includes the ability to approve and purchase support packages and stick with people until you are confident that you have managed to make some positive changes in their life.

The team is very friendly and supportive of each other. We meet regularly as a team to discuss clients, explore areas of practice and offer 1:1 supervision monthly.
