Salary G9: £33,448- £38,506 per annum
37 hours per week (Working pattern Monday to Friday)


We are seeking an experienced Social Worker with substantial post qualifying experience to work within Central Walsall (South Locality) Social Care Team

If you are a motivated and solution focused practitioner, who is interested in helping shape and deliver our services, and contribute to the development of a model of best practice for the area, then we would like to hear from you. You will work alongside a Team of supportive and welcoming Social Care and Occupational Therapy practitioners. You will be expected to demonstrate in-depth working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and other legal frameworks and be an experienced and confident practitioner undertaking Care Act assessments, devising strengths based support plans and outcome focussed reviews. You will have substantial experience of safeguarding adults together with experience of empowering service users and carers.

This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.  The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
