Jesson's is a Church of England Primary School situated just out of the centre of Dudley. Jesson's is a very multi-cultural school where children of all faiths and none are warmly welcomed. The school has a strong Christian ethos on which the day to day life of the school is based.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an SEN Teacher in our new learning base. This base accommodates children from Foundation stage up to year 6. There is a maximum of 12 children in the base who have a variety of learning and behavioural needs. This includes Autism, ADHD, global delay and communication difficulties. The majority of these children will have an EHCP or it will be in process.
Hours: Full Time
Salary: Teacher Main Scale £25,714 to £36,961 with SEN allowance of £2270 per annum
- To deliver an appropriately, differentiated curriculum for learners in the school’s learning base.
- To ensure that these pupils make accelerated progress from their starting points through quality first teaching and the implementation of interventions.
- To ensure that these children feel happy, safe and ready to learn.
- To appropriately meet the different needs of all the children in the learning base.
- To be a member of the school team, sharing a positive role in promoting the School’s Christian aims and ethos.
- Have Qualified Teacher status.

- Nurture Practitioner trained
- Makaton training and be willing to learn this
- Have received Emotion coaching training
