Job Details

The Arts Section operates three of Leamington Spa’s most iconic cultural buildings – The Royal Spa Centre, The Royal Pump Rooms and the Town Hall.

There is an exciting opportunity to join the Customer Services Department.
The team are responsible for providing the Customer Service, Bar service, Stewarding and assisting with Box Office Operations across our venues.

We are looking for people who are friendly, out-going and passionate about providing a high level of Customer Service in a fast-paced and busy environment.  Experience of working with the public and good customer care skills are essential.  Previous experience of working in a bar desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

Providing excellent standards of customer care and maintain a professional quality of operation and communication by provide a pro-active information service to our customers.

Acting as a box office assistant as required and ensure that revenue is maximised through proactive and efficient ticket sales.

Working as a gallery assistant, bar keeper, steward or mobile seller, as required and ensure that revenue is maximised through pro-active and efficient sales.

Assisting in the cleaning of and maintenance of all equipment and allied front of house service areas to ensure that they are always safe, clean and customer focused.

This role is integral to achieving our aim of providing world class customer service.

Many of our performances, events and exhibitions are held during the evenings and/or on weekends – therefore flexible working on evenings and weekends is essential for this role. 

This is an annualised hours contract. Customer Services Assistants are expected to be available for the month of December (pantomime is the busiest time of year) and as part of the contract, you will be expected to work Boxing Day and either Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.
