APPRENTICE - EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER LEVEL 2
Rate of Pay: The current National Minimum Wage for an apprentice is £4.30 an hour (from April). This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over AFTER completing their first year. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that is part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
We are looking to appoint a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice with effect from July 2021 for 35 hours per week plus five Inset Days. The post is term time only & for the term of training undertaken.
The successful applicant will provide classroom support in Early Years (Nursery & Reception class) in the first instance.
It is essential that you have excellent English and Mathematics skills and a real passion for wanting all children to achieve their very best.
