Pens Meadow School


We are an expanding school for children with severe and profound learning difficulties. A significant number of our pupils are also on the autistic spectrum. Since September 2015 we have been operating on a dual site; 65 places 3 -14 years and 40 places 14-19 years. The 14+ unit at Pensnett is an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver quality provision within Dudley for young people with complex needs.

Hours:  37 per week - 39 Weeks per Year (Term Time Only)


Salary:  Grade 7 Scale Points 18 – 23 + SEN Allowance

The Governors of Pens Meadow School are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our highly successful and dedicated school team on permanent contract.  You must have HLTA status or an equivalent qualification.


We are looking for someone with the skills and enthusiasm to develop the existing Food Technology curriculum at our Post 14 site at Pensnett into a Community Café via an enterprise model. The role is working with pupils full time and the successful candidate must have proven experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
