At Worcestershire County Council we are changing the way we deliver construction projects and have an exciting opportunity for Capital Projects and Programme Manager to join the inhouse Corporate Landlord team.
The Capital Projects and Programme Manager is responsible for developing and managing the delivery of the capital works programmes for the corporate and schools estates and ensuring works are delivery safely, to a high quality, on time and within budget.
This role is to lead a team which is responsible for projects through their full life cycle and will involve managing a varied programme of feasibility studies, surveys, professional services, building, mechanical and electrical works. It will also be responsible for progress reporting on programme delivery, project milestones and contractor performance and providing expert advice on risks, issues, dependencies and contract management. The Council also has an ambitious future programme of schools projects and this role will work in partnership with the education team in the successful planning and delivery.
