To provide leadership and support for a multi-facetted team of direct trade based reports. To ensure that the core business objectives are achieved through effective operational and value for money practices.

You will require particular skills and abilities associated with your areas of work, but will also be expected to carry out duties covering other areas of work within the team as and when required.

Customers have told us that their responsive repairs service is very important to them, and a good customer focus is therefore vital.

The role is a busy one, so the ability to prioritise and manage stress are key skills for the role. We also work with a range of contractors and external agencies so good communication and negotiation skills will be needed. Technical knowledge and a good grasp of Health and Safety are pre-requisites for the post.

With experience in either the social housing or commercial property sector, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing a Responsive Repairs and Voids service, financial control/budget management and value for money.

Reporting directly to the Responsive Repairs Team Manager you will work to provide an exceptional customer experience to both internal and external stakeholders. Additionally you will contribute to commercial growth aspirations, review our current systems and processes, propose new options and suggestions relating to service delivery, and provide accurate and well-maintained data which will lead to a process of continuous improvement in the services we provide.

There couldn’t be a better time to join a progressive and forward thinking organisation that operates with a financial head and a social heart. If you view Responsive Repairs with broad horizons, understand the local area and have a passion for delivering plans that truly align with organisational objectives, then we really would like to hear from you.
