Grade G4 – SCP 6-11: Actual Salary £13,401- £14796 (Term time only)

We are seeking to employ a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in May, start date to be confirmed. 

You will be required to work for 28.75 hours per week over 5 days and will be term time only, contracted 39 weeks. This position is to temporarily fill the position of a Teaching Assistant that is acting up covering a maternity absence, this post will finish when the Teaching Assistant returns to her original role.

You will be required to work with a pupil that has Special Educational Needs. It would be desirable that the post holder has some experience of working with children with communication and interaction, and cognitive and learning differences and has some knowledge of receptive language differences.

If you enjoy working with children and are looking for a new challenge we would like to hear from you. It is desirable to have very good numeracy and literacy skills and hold a relevant Level 2 qualification or equivalent and/ or have relevant experience.

We are an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ primary school with one form entry year groups, inclusive 210 pupils and a 52 place Nursery School, situated near to Walsall Town Centre. We are a small and friendly school, with a strong community based ethos. We are also part of the Cadmus Family of schools.
