Salary: £30,492 - £40,506
Full-Time: 35 hours
We are a busy, friendly, well supported legal team serving Worcestershire County Council in a beautiful and conveniently situated location in Worcester. We provide a high quality and well regarded service to our users and now need to recruit a Debt Recovery/Litigation Lawyer.
We are looking for a Solicitor or Barrister, from those newly qualified to those with significant experience as Debt Recovery/Litigation Lawyer. You will advise the Centralised Debt Recovery Team on a number of related matters across all Directorates and Worcestershire Children First (WCF). Advocacy is an essential part of the job and you will appear in the Small Claims and County Court on a regular basis. At the moment all posts are working from home with full wrap around technological support as well as both the support of a legal assistant and a legal clerk.
Are you an excellent communicator, able to meet tight deadlines and with good analytical skills? If so, we would like to hear from you. In return you will have the support of a committed and experienced team around you. We also offer a generous benefits package, which includes a flexi-time scheme, career average pension, child care vouchers and a relocation scheme in appropriate cases, as well as an edge-of-city location, very close to the M5.
