Traffic Regulation Officer Assistant

Salary:  £20,903- £23,541 per annum(pro rata)

 37 Hours per week – Permanent  

 

Are you looking for a development opportunity in the Council in the Strategic Asset and Network Management team? Are you devoted to continuous improvement, working in a team with a varied range of roles and responsibilities across many Highways-related disciplines?

The TMA Assurance team is responsible for a number of Highway functions, including Clear Streets (Civil Parking Enforcement), Traffic Regulation Orders, Staff Parking and Network Management in partnership with Amey.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the TMA Assurance team in the delivery of highway regulatory functions, supporting the traffic regulation team in delivering its on-street Pay & Display programme, delivering new parking permit zones and engaging and consulting with both Local Members and residents in designing and shaping the proposed schemes. They will also be responsible for engaging and working with Amey’s Design team in delivering the schemes on site.

Applicants should possess excellent inter-personal skills, be highly motivated, self-starters with a drive to succeed, demonstrating a positive ‘Can do’ attitude. They will  be able to deal with a range of issues and conflicting demands , whilst delivering to tight deadlines, keeping calm under pressure.
