We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Administration Officer, able to prioritise to meet deadlines to deliver the rewarding work of our information and administration service.

Located in Solihull town centre and working alongside colleagues from across the Economy and Infrastructure Directorate, this post is a diverse role where you will have the flexibility to develop your knowledge in a number of areas, including local land charges, street naming and numbering, planning and building control, depending on the needs of the business

As a team player, committed to delivering excellent customer service you will join a busy, dedicated Administration and Information Team, undertaking a variety of tasks to provide administrative, financial, systems and technical assistance to a variety of stakeholders.

Supported by GCSEs including English and maths (or equivalent) or a Level 2 NVQ qualification in administration, you will be confident in IT and keyboard skills, with experience of using a range of systems and databases. You will have excellent attention to detail and will be able to handle and process a range of information securely.

Some knowledge and experience of local land charges or planning or building regulations, would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be given.
