MFL Teacher - (Teachers’ Main Pay Scale) – 12 Months Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave
Required for September 2021, dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of German and French who has the capacity to consistently deliver good or better lessons. You will have a passion for Languages, which will enthuse, engage and motivate our students and will want to become part of a successful team. You will be expected to play a key role in the development and delivery of a successful KS3 curriculum, ensuring that all students make at least good progress.
Currently, all students study at least one foreign language during KS3 and we have two language groups in both Year 10 and Year 11. We also provide EAL support to those pupils who are learning English as a second language and additional literacy support for all students during KS3. We are a growing department and have developed a strong key stage 5 offer which includes TEFL and Travel and Tourism.
Paget is a multi-ethnic, 11-18 school with excellent transport links at the edge of th Peak District and in the heart of the National Forest. We offer a positive learning ethos and a supportive staff induction programme.
